Jake and the Kendama USA dudes are going to be out in Vegas for another toy fair. They are throwing a battle in the studio of some famous bboy crew. So Jake hit up Tim Rice the only dude in SF that we know that damas and can dance his ass off. They put together this sweet little edit. So here it is folks the second full length kendama movie ever made. I heard the premiere weekend was beyond epic. Wish I could have been there. This movie is amazing and if you own a kendama you HAVE TO WATCH IT! Great work Ballard.
Paw Tamas and Displays
For those you of you that don’t know PAW is Jake’s dad. He is an expert wood turner, and has teamed up with Jake to make some killer kendama goods. The Tamas are all hand turned and from wood his dad cut from fallen tress. The weight and bevel on these tamas is on point. These aren’t just pieces to put on your shelf, but are meant to be shredded in style. Now these displays are just too sick for words. I got one of these as a wedding present awhile back so I’ve known about them for awhile, I guess it pays to have friends like Jake! haha. They are just the most simple and elegant way to display your damas. Everything designed and made in america, and in this day in age. That shit matters! Get yours today before they are gone….
Ken Tsunas in Stock
So the wait is finally over!!! The new Ken Tsunas are all in stock and for sale in the STORE. From left to right we have dark brown, maroon, light brown and a medium brown. The maroon, light and dark brown are all made with thicker leather. So at first they will be hard to get in but we did that on purpose so they stay tight over time. One major thing to mention is getting your dama in and out of them. The best way to do so is to leave them closed at all times (like seen above) Then just wiggle the dama around the loop and in. Each color has about 10 of each so grab them while they last!!!
Kendama USA Japan Tour
All the KenUsa homies are out in Japan killing it at life right now. Expect some seriously epic shit to come from this trip.
New Alex Smith Edit
Not really sure why this is called edit 1 because this certainly isn’s his first dama edit. But either way this shit is amazing. Alex just straight killing it and doing it with so much flow. I’m really into this one, can’t wait to try his pro model soon.
Kendama USA Pro Models 2012
So the boys over at Kendama USA are re-releasing the pro models. This time with the new Alex Smith model and all new packaging. They even made a sweet little video to promote the release. I haven’t played one yet but from what I hear they are very similar to the previous tribute models. So go scoop one while you can.
Mr. Kengarden made an Edit
Jake randomly gets amazing clips just walking around or at some event. So here he is cleaning out all the clips he had on his computer. I think the best thing I have ever done for the dama community was showing Jake Wiens what a kendama was! Jake is easily one of the most motivated and hardest working people in kendama. So show some respect to MR. KG himself shredding like only he can.

The homie Turner got a little interview from some local Tahoe show. I had no clue his dad was a world champion mogul skier!!! Stoked TJ made an appearance too. See you boys on tour!!!
March Kengarden Battle Ladders
We had a lot of fun making this. We actually ran out of light cause we were having too much fun skating. So we made it work, with the normal skater storyline. Sesh, then corner store, then get crunk. Hope to see you guys in the park this saturday. Full details here.
