"Footage from Damafest in Atlanta, the Spring Meltdown Jam at Snowvalley, Calgary, Edmonton, China, and beyond. Tricks by Eric, Matt, Trevor, Charles, Mathias, Turner, Alex, Jacob, Scott, John, Daryl, Kristin, and Rodney. Advice from Jake, KE special presentation by Benny." I’m not sure what is "mini" about this edit cause its almost 7 minutes long but I definitely enjoyed it. Super stoked on this.
This is Mathias’s first solo edit and god damn is it good. It’s got dama, ladies, art, KROM hops and figs. What more could you want in a dama edit? I’m definitely stoked when people show some personality in there edit. I feel like the dama game is growing so fast you really need to have more then just dama porn. Nice work guys. Go get yourself some KKKKRRRROOOOMMMMM!
So here it is folks. The new Mugen! This color is called Earth blue and will only be availible on this first run. You can only get one if you bought a tama or won a mugen during the Gloken auction. I’ve heard from other homies that some of the colors they have in store will blow your damn mind! Also I know they will be releasing jumbos as well. These Earth Blues are coming in at $130 which seems a bit high but if they can rival the quality of the old mugens $130 is a deal. It looks like the tried to make some improvements as well. From redesigning the logo, changing the slip stop, adding a new stringing method, and even a hole in the bottom cup. I can’t wait to get my hands on one and see how these things shred.

So it is finally here, Kengarden Roots Tour 2013!!! To find out all the details check the FB event page. Above is the amazing drawing Nik Stergios aka J. Beast made for the tour shirt. We will be selling the shirts along the way to help fund this adventure. I won’t really have time to blog while on tour so when I get back on the 30th normal blogging will commence. I have about 50ish tsunas to sell on tour so if you have been trying to get one, come on out to a stop and snag one. We have light brown and dark brown for sale. Also I will have more tsunas to upload to the site if you can’t make it to a stop to snag one. Be sure to follow me (dealwithitsf) and the rest of the dudes on instagram to see the shenanigans we get into. The hashtag is #kgrootstour2013. See you on the road!!!
Ruisch and Van Rasta just started a company called The Boss kendamas. For all you people out there that love bigger kendamas this is for you. Their first model is in between the Taiyo (performer) size and the emperor. Support people that have been in the scene forever. For more info check them out here.
Mathias von Gostomoski made this mini blade flick from all the footage he had from 2012. I’m definitly digging this.
Check out what these dudes can do with little tiny waves in the first part. Then in the second part things get a little heavier. It’s crazy with good skimmers they can do something sick on a nothing wave. Something that is hard to comprehend when you are new to it.
If you own a kendama in America and you don’t know who Colin is you are basically fucking up. When I first started he was one of the only players in the US actually making videos. He was and still is one of my major sources of inspiration in the kendama game. I’m stoked to say he is a close friend and a homie for life. Sit back and watch how a legend does it.
I basically fucked up and missed out on this event in search of waves. Either way I’m really stoked that something like this is happening around here. Without the blade comedy jams or other street comps. It seems like its been awhile since there was anything like this in Norcal. Seems like a great success, and stoked that the homie Vossoughi won best trick with that mental fishbrain stall.
