If you own a kendama in America and you don’t know who Colin is you are basically fucking up. When I first started he was one of the only players in the US actually making videos. He was and still is one of my major sources of inspiration in the kendama game. I’m stoked to say he is a close friend and a homie for life. Sit back and watch how a legend does it.
All the same as last year but this time we are adding Wenatchee, and making it a bit longer. Can’t wait to be on the road again, and you gotta love this Star map Wiens made.
If you are in SF tonight come thru! Kengarden pop up shop opening inside the San Franspsycho Divis location. Tributes, Ozoras, Yo Yos, Tsunas, PIlls, Paw Goods, Sourmash Epicness, Unknwn yoyo holsters, Performers, and Deal with it and KG shirts. We got what you need for that skill nerd in your life.
Well here it is folks edit motherfucking 12! Can’t believe it’s been a year since my last edit. Hope you enjoy.
I made the Bring back Mugen fb page because I didn’t really know what else to do to try and get these guys to listen. So I figured it was a long shot. But Holy shit it actually worked!! Realistically I think they are a lot of people that need to be thanked for them coming back. Obviously Tamotsu Kubota and everyone at Gloken made this last push to really get them going. Before that I would have to say Yoko and Ruisch need to be thanked for their tireless work trying to get them back as well. I’ve heard they will be around the $35-$45 mark and not have a JKA seal. Everyone is saying they won’t be the same but do you really think they will be that different? Iwata knows if he strays to much from the original people will not be stoked. So I can not freaking wait to see what they come up with. See people if you really want something bad enough you can make it happen!
Hey everyone I’m finally back from Hawaii. It was amazing but it’s great to be back in SF. Here is my entry for the Gloken contest. I wanted to make something funny and not just stand in front of a camera like a marc. Hope you enjoy it, and wish me luck! Also the tsunas go on sale tomorrow!
Jake came over to the studio the other day while we were working on the next round of Tsunas. Of course in normal Jake fashion he made this amazing video to give you a little glimpse into the process. 100% handmade by us here in SF. I’m going out of town next week and when I get back the next round of Tsunas will be up for sale. So the first day of spring, March 21 we will have around 30-40 more in the store. They will go fast, so don’t sleep!
I don’t normally blast pics of myself on here. But I’m so stoked and honored to be a part of the Terra Kendama Pro Team. I just love everything they have done since day one. Quality products with quality design. I mean yea it’s a toy but lets try and make this thing of ours look good. If you haven’t seen some of the Terra stuff check them out. They do amazing work.
Definitily the first dude I’ve ever seen doing this. Looks pretty insane, I wonder if you could do a lighthouse flip like that.
Ever wonder how a kendama is actually made? I found all these pics online and made them into one big photo to make it easier to understand. Pretty cool to see it layed out like this.
