This months battle was probably the most intense. Having the ladders be easy tricks and just focusing on speed really makes for a more crowd pleasing event. The freestyle battle between Mateo and Alex Smith was just too epic for words. Congrats to TJ for the big win and Alex for winning the freestyle battle. New Bike Day

I just got my new Focus Carbon Road bike from Cykel. I’m super stoked to put some miles on this thing. I still need to lose the white bar tape, and get road pedals and shoes once my wallet recovers from this massive blow.

My homie Nik Pearce, his wife Rocio, and his brother Tom just opened their new bike shop in North Beach called Cykel which is swedish for bike.
