So this is a kendama ball with a big groove in it like a yoyo. The kendama world and yoyo world has been merging a lot recently and this is a direct result. Definitely some really rad things can come of this. Can’t wait to see more and get my hands on one.
Alex Ruisch hit me up and wanted to get some GT-1 Spectrums, so of course we hooked him up. But before I sent them out he wanted me to give them to Sourmash so he could have some custom painted tamas that matched. And as you can see Mash fucking killed it! These things just look so amazing. I’m stoked to say these are from Jake and my company, our good homie painted them and they are going to a legend. Enjoy them Ruisch!
Talin sure does love those string tricks. I’m always stoked when someone tries to do something new with kendama. So keep up the creativity man, can’t wait to see what he comes up with next. Also extra points for repping that GT-1.
We got some sweet buttons made and they are up on the site now. 3 buttons, 2 GT sticks. $5. Can’t go wrong with that. Rep GT in style.
So this is the first of what we hope to be many more community edits. Usually edits are all about one person or all about one company. We wanted to bring everyone together with the shared love of the Grain Theory kendama. All companies, all countries, all skill levels welcome. Enjoy.
Fellow Terra pro Rodney Ansell ripping like only he can. Rodney is one of the most impressive players I have ever seen in person. The stuff he does in videos he can pretty much do right in front of you on command. Good luck in the comp Rodney and hope Van is treating you right.
Keith getting down with some vinyl. Ripping as usual and that mug is too sick. This may turn into a regular series so I’m really stoked to see what else Keith comes up with.
Raphael Cochet is one of my biggest influences in kendama, and I’m always stoked to see what he is up to. He mostly does art and plays bibloquet now, which are both demonstrated in this rad video he and his friend made. I love the shots with the little dog, and just the whole vibe of this video.
Bryan Hansen just put out this sweet little promo of some wormhole trickery. It’s so rad to actually have people finally playing our damas and making videos of them. Thanks for the support BHC!
20 years playing kendama. 2 jumbos kendamas and no string. This is the result. This is part 2/4 in the series be sure to check out the first if you haven’t. Stoked to see the 2 remaining parts.
