Stoked to see Yourd put out a new edit. Loving that double tap stuff and that weird double tre flip weirdness. Also stoked to see an edit that isn’t just all dama. Didn’t know Yourd could shred that hard on a snowboard did ya?
So Jake, Mash, Swiss Chocolate and I went out to the Cal State Yo Yo competition this weekend in Sac. I’d never been to one before so it was a new thing for me. It was awesome to meet all these amazing players and get a glimpse into a world very similar to kendama. Stoked to have these two scenes finally meeting up. Thanks for masterminding this thing Thatchmaster! and getting damas into the hands of some very influential yo yo players. I now have another thing to obsess over, like I don’t have enough already! Check out a few players from a really awesome company Caribou Lodge.
These things are awesome, they are almost like kendama pez dispensers. I wish they sold these at my local corner store.
Women and kendama, sounds like a good combo to me. Check out Daniela’s edit number 5. She is clearly one of the best females out there. Both of us just won mugens in the Gloken contest as well! So congrats again Daniela and thanks again for doing the trade!
Found this sweet kendama pillow in the depths of the interweb. Wouldn’t mind have a few of these on my bed.
Definitily the first dude I’ve ever seen doing this. Looks pretty insane, I wonder if you could do a lighthouse flip like that.
I found this awesome kendama comic strip online. I put together 4 different ones on this one page. I wish I knew what it was saying but you can pretty much get the gist of it. I love all the crazy expressions that all the pieces are making.
Ever wonder how a kendama is actually made? I found all these pics online and made them into one big photo to make it easier to understand. Pretty cool to see it layed out like this.
We have been working hard to get more Ken Tsunas out to you. Before we did everything by hand and then had the logos lasered on. The place where we did the lasering is no longer available. So we ordered a custom stamp so we can apply the logos by hand. Now the ken tsunas will be 100% made by hand even down to the logo! We have about 50 made right now and are just waiting on the stamp. We should be getting that in 1-2 weeks, then we will stamp them and put them online. So be patient they are coming!!! Also we are working on getting a patent so that is also very exciting.
