Watching East Coast blading like this makes me miss all the homies. Definitely a fun watch with some sweet deals.
Some of you may already know that I’m from the east coast but have been living in SF now for about 9ish years now. I kind of felt the blog needed some more east coast content. So I hit up one of my oldest homies Mike Matason to see if he could shoot me some photos every now and then because the man is an animal behind the camera (and on the blades!). He was down for it so here is the first East Coast Pic of the Day! This is another good homie Jeff Phang busting a buttery ao fish. I’m told right after this he 3 soul’d it first try!
Another slick ass edit from Nick Pisciotta and Jeff Dalnas. I am always really stoked for these edits because Jeff is amazing and Nick has been filming since the stone age, so he knows whats up. But I’m mostly stoked because they always skate my old stomping grounds, and when I just see one spot I get a flood of memories from there. If Bethesda metro could talk, my god!
I’m posting this mostly for the first song, but of course all these dudes shred. That ledge @ 1:52 was really fucking crazy I wonder if anyone could even get over that on blades or a board. Also the lines at 3:19 and 3:36 were extra hawrd.
This is just some rugged ass NYC shit. And the embed nazis are in full effect. So you can watch it here.
This spot is really gnarly but Nick Koo handled it. We are going to go back to this spot for more very soon to try and get more stuff for Nick’s video part. Just beware of the wild turkeys that roam around in this part of town!
It’s new SHIMA FOOTAGE! You would have to be an asshole not to post this if you have a blog that has anything to do with skating. Shima is a living legend, and still going. Nough said.
Check out this wall ride pic I shot of Snow O’ Connell this past weekend. Snow and I have been hard at work stacking clips for an exclusive Deal With It profile that should drop sometime around late Januaryish/Feb. I’m going to be throwing out photos of Snow as filming progresses. So stay tuned for more!
The East Bay Battle was a huge success. Thanks a lot to Courtney and Greg for making this things happen. I’m really stoked cause I finally won advanced again and got to score that amazing carved kendama!!! So here are a few pics, and I have few more on my flickr. Full results will be up on Kengarden very soon. Great to see everyone and also great to see all the new faces. Can’t wait for the next battle!!!
