Hoax 2 was the bible but Hoax 3 was definitely no slouch. Just such a classic, I’m glad I grew up in this era of skating and had this on VHS. Sit back and enjoy some blade history.
Last year my first real introduction into the yoyo world was Cal States. This year I wasn’t able to make it but the homie Guy Wright ended up placing 4th! Another notable routine was Tyler Severance’s 5a performance. Some really amazing stuff from these two. You can check out other routines on the youtube page. Can’t wait for the Bay Area Classic in May.
I’ve never heard of this guy or seen anything from him, but I’m really stoked on this. Just super clean, proper blading. Hope to see more from this guy.
Adam over at MOV just made it so you can download his most recent film “Drive”. It’s only $5 and you can download it on their site here. Just click support the cause at the top and scroll down. Some seriously insane Wedge footage in this. And for only $5 you and see some of the top skimmers in the world shredding!! You can also download his first film MOV for $5. Drive in Adam’s words…
“This is our most recent film, released in June, 2013. Featuring sections for the East Coast, Morgan Just, Austin Keen, Paulo Prietto, the West Coast, Blair Conklin, Teddy Vlassis, Travis Sampson, Bill Bryan, and Perry and Cobert Wells.”
So this is a kendama ball with a big groove in it like a yoyo. The kendama world and yoyo world has been merging a lot recently and this is a direct result. Definitely some really rad things can come of this. Can’t wait to see more and get my hands on one.
Alex Ruisch hit me up and wanted to get some GT-1 Spectrums, so of course we hooked him up. But before I sent them out he wanted me to give them to Sourmash so he could have some custom painted tamas that matched. And as you can see Mash fucking killed it! These things just look so amazing. I’m stoked to say these are from Jake and my company, our good homie painted them and they are going to a legend. Enjoy them Ruisch!
I kept meaning to post this but kept spacing on it. So incase you haven’t seen it yet check out this insanity. I feel like with wheels under your feet at some point you just have to go for it and you can’t really turn back. But doing it while running you have to just force your legs to keep moving. Pretty nuts.
Dakota Roche is just a straight up BOWSE. Always stoked to see any footage from him. Let alone a full part.
"I’m proud to be a California Native. This land has created who I am and how I see things. "Native Land" is a video part inspired by the surroundings to which I’m blessed to call my home. Thanks to Cult, Veesh and the bros for making this video possible."
Been slacking on the bmx post. This should make up for it.
